13-09-21 Alert Level 4:
Community Update

Kia ora e te whānau,

As per the Government announcement this afternoon, Auckland will remain in Level 4 lockdown for another week - until Tuesday September 21st - with the view of moving to alert Level 3 from mid-next week. The Government is due to review alert levels again next Monday.

As we embark on our 5th week of distance learning, we wanted to highlight how proud we are of community - all of our learners, their families/whānau, and our teachers and support staff! We appreciate that lockdown can be very challenging as we juggle being parents with working from home and supporting our children in their learning. Despite this, we continue to see amazing engagement, and so many silver linings! We are so impressed with the massive efforts that everyone is putting in. However, we understand that the level to which you will be able to engage in your child’s learning from home will differ depending on your own unique situation. We want to reassure you once again that it is up to you and your family how much your child engages in the learning that we will continue to design and provide at a distance. Trust your judgement; we know you will make the best decision for your family.

Keep an eye out on your inbox this week as we'll be sending a link to our 2021 Community Survey tomorrow, as well as our communication update on Thursday!
