Weekly communication for staff
Morning everyone,
We had many comments from S4 Parents' saying how much they appreciated the S4 Parents Evening being in person. Thank you to Pam Gregory and Michelle Skinner for delivering a Study Skills session, it was well received by those parents who stayed on. All information regarding study skills has been shared with parents and is in Balfron Matters - see below. Pam and Michelle will deliver the study skills presentation prior to the S5/6 Parent Evening in a couple of weeks.
Congratulations to Jack, Laurie, Beth and Oliver who came third in the Enterprising Maths competition at Stirling High School this week. Also, the Open 1 (S4/5/6) Netball team won their first match against St Peter the Apostle HS in the Scottish Schools Cup. Well done to them.
Below is an update about Equally Safe at School including the recent pupil survey's. This week we have an ESAS Parent Information Evening where we will be sharing the work that we have been doing in school.
This week, we have collated and sent to parents information about SQA coursework and assignments. See below.
The Halloween Disco is this evening, thank you in advance to all those volunteering to help. Do encourage young people to complete the Google form to support the Eco Club in their campaign Dress to Waste Less . Have a good week everyone.
