Testing Power Supply Instruction
Step 1: Visual inspect Power Supply for damages.
1. Inspect to see if the power supply has damages before testing. It could be dangerous if unit is powered on when unit has damages.
1. Check all wires. Make sure no wires are exposed due to damage.
2. Check the terminals for damages.
3. Check physical appearance for damages.
Step 2: Connect 24 pins or 20 pins connector to power supply tester.
Step 3: Testing each connector.
1. Plug in one connector at a time to the test. Do not plug in more than one plug during testing. It will short out the tester. You can only test one cable at a time.
2. Turn on the power switch of the power supply.
3. Each connector has different current readings.
4. Make sure each connector is putting out the correct voltage. If not, the power supply is now working properly.
5. Turn off the power supply and continue the process with the other connectors.
Step 4: All connector must be working properly in order for the unit to be F3 - key function working. If not, unit must be scrap for recycling.
