All SkyVine ITAD Sort personnel shall wear the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): steel toed shoes or boots and gloves (when handling sharp material). If handling sharp materials or broken glass, Kevlar sleeves must be worn.
The Sort personnel shall verify the lot to be sorted and make sure all the skids can be found.
The Sort personnel must first log into SkyVineITAD.RazorERP.com and work out of the sort workflow queue. Select the corresponding Lot ID with the physical pallet/gaylord.
The Sort personnel shall unpackage the skids/gaylords and sort into the segregated material boxes as specified by management. A picture reference will be made available. If not accepted material is found (refer to the Not Accepted List), the Warehouse Manager shall be notified, the vendor will be notified and the material will be tagged “Return to Customer.”
Once a Sorted box is filled and ready for stocking, a new Tag ID must be created listing the new product information and gross/tare weight.
The finished sorted material will be weighed and a new Tag ID will be generated via the SkyVine ERP system and assigned to the next step processing queue.
Universal waste shall be packaged and labeled according to the SkyVine ITAD Universal Waste Handling Procedure.
All paper and recyclable packaging material should be put in labeled boxes for recycling and not put in garbage bins.
Cardboard should be segregated for reuse or recycling.
Pallets should be segregated for reuse or recycling.
After material is weighed and recorded it shall be moved to the appropriate storage area.
If the sorter finds material that is unknown and/or not accepted by SkyVine ITAD the sorter will put the material aside until given furth direction. A picture reference is also posted at the work area.
If a material spill occurs during the Sorting process, immediately notify the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor who is trained to handle spills. Spills shall be cleaned up according to the Spill Cleanup Procedures.
