Power Drill Training

1. Ask the supervisor to unlock the cage.

2. Sign out for power drill for designated area.

3. Find the correct size drill bit for the particular task.

4. Set drill to proper setting:

   1. Torque

   2. Conversion

   3. Low

   4. Medium

   5. High

5. Apply pressure with 2 hands

   1. 1 hand as a guide

   2. 1 hand firmly on tool handle

6. Guide the drill bit with your fingers to the screw and securely place the drill bit in the screw.

7. Squeeze slowly, picking up speed once comfortable.

8. Once you are finished using the power drill, remove and return all drill bits in their designated cases.

9. Return the drill back to the cage and charge the batteries at the end of the shift.

10. Sign out once the drill is back in the cage.
