Review the nominations and make a recommendation for the award.
Complete- The winner is Nicky Bly, for her work as Program Coordinator of the hybrid Polysomnographic Technology program at Highline. The award presentation was made at the ATL.
Provide training on topics of interest to the Council, such as Google tools for education, sustainability, and WGU, at each quarterly meeting. (Discuss possible Linda Maier "community building" session for fall meeting.) Action plan:

Increase professional development for faculty and staff and sharing of best practices in the use of existing system-wide teaching and learning technologies with an emphasis on the efficacy of teaching and learning using technology
Work in Progress Mike Arnold is taking the lead to assist Scott Dennis in organizing the blog and coordinating professional development sessions.
Provide topics/videos of discussion for the eLearning Council- bringing new concepts, theories, or strategies.
