Faculty Development: WACC 2018
We distribute Alyssa's Prof Dev Calendar
Instructional Design last August and comes up again this August (SBCTC's paying for the food)
Created tracks on OER, Accessibility, Technology, Universal Design, Student Services
Provided one voucher for registration to each college. This will support our goal of access to professional development.

Review and update our goals
Combine forces with ITC
Work with ITC to plan WACC 2019 - themed ENGAGE!
Confirm dates and location for WACC 2019

Goals: Professional Development Work Group
In order to improve equitable student success through accessible technology and universal design for learning, open educational resources (OER) and open pedagogy for learning we will increase awareness, access and ease of use to professional development opportunities.
We will research advances to teaching and learning practices including the use of cutting edge technologies in order to increase awareness, access and ease of use to professional development opportunities.
We will support the instructional design work in WA State by providing professional development opportunities and collaboration for those in Instructional Designer roles.
Provide faculty development
Deliverables: Professional Development Work Group will (hope to?) cover
Create a repository of trainings that can be shared by commons
Add to consortium or create a group to commons?
Erin and Tim will research tagging, and best ways to group our trainings we’d like to share
Erin and Tim will make requests monthly on specific topics, curate products.
Instructional Design Retreat
Future retreats will be in the summer and located where the summer eLC meetings are located
