Strategies:
Finalize OER definition
Tim will circle back with CLAMS - 11/13/14 CLAMS does not agree on the eLC definition, however eLC and Boyoung feel the definitions are close enough in purpose and intent to move forward with the eLC definition on the website and other SBCTC OER materials. LLC approves of the eLC definition.
Definition will be officially shared with IC (at the winter meeting - Feb 12) and then used on all official websites, training, and marketing.
Stay apprised to developing Canvas Commons and how it fits with OER activities.
Schools with Beta (LCC & TCC) will report back to Boyoung and eLC with continuous progress.
Promote and market the OER training course.
11/2014 Post to the CLAMS listserv and share at the LOEL workshop to increase awareness of faculty training.
Promote & Use Boyoung's OpenWa listserv with a reminder that it ties to the eLC goals and to share out with faculty and staff.
11/2014 - Tim shared at LOEL Workshop
11/4/14 - Boyoung shared on eLC listserv
Boyoung will share out quarterly statistics on training course enrollments/completions
Guest speaker requested by the Student Association for 11-21-14 - recommendations: Quill or her recommendation.
Promote and market openwa.org - support phase 2 development and launch.
Review each feature of the openwa.org website
Get feedback from faculty on the features of the website & make recommendations for phase 2 (winter quarter - need to develop a systematic way)
Collaborate with the State Board, LLC, and CLAMS to drive OER use and awareness, specifically for the LOEL grant
Individual eLC members support individual campuses in developing their plans
