Updated Goals and Outcomes for Accessibility Workgroup:
Provide data for amount of videos captioned, exposing hidden costs and recommend best practices to the IC and shared with state colleges via ELC
Spring Meeting: Provide accessibility Training for faculty, including Federal mandates and captioning videos.
Terrill Thompson from DOIT University of Washington, will provide training on Accessibility for ELC, Spring 2015
Accessibility fact sheet, training plan, including captioning videos completed and available for sharing
Summary of faculty and staff professional development on accessibility as it relates to eLearning classes.
Aligns with IC goals:
1.1 Increase participation and success of underrepresented populations in workforce and transfer pathways.
2.1 Increase student access and success.
3.1 Support and improve high quality eLearning for students including online, hybrid, and enhanced courses that improves teaching and learning.
3.2a. Provide professional development opportunities for faculty to increase use and effectiveness of Open Education Resources and instructional learning technology tools.
