Today is Women’s Ensemble Sunday. Why? Because it’s fun! Our friends from the Sound of the Strand, a women’s barbershop choir from the community that rehearses in our choir room every Tuesday, join the women of the St. Augustine Choir this morning as we sing three-part treble music. We also have handbell music in today’s service by the youngest members of the Canterbery Bells Handbell Choir and two fine pianists.
Please support the Sound of the Strand’s public concerts this year! A listing may be found at http://www.soundofthestrand.org/events.html. Next Sunday is Men’s Ensemble Sunday with members of the Low Country Barbershop Chorus and the Sunday after that (Sunday, August 28th) is the first official Choral Eucharist for the St. Augustine Choir of the year!
If you are interested in joining any of our choirs, instrumental ensembles or music classes, you are not too late! Please contact me at music.trinity.church@gmail.com for more info.
