Many thanks today to our excellent guest organist Darleen Smith for leading music at today’s Eucharist. I am in New Haven, CT this week for a convention of the American Guild of Organists (the AGO). The AGO serves only 20,000 people-- a smaller membership than the International Magician’s Society.
Darleen and I belong to the local “Grand Strand” chapter of the AGO. Our chapter hosts workshops and concerts for the general public but also for local organists, music directors and choir directors. You can read about what we have planned for next year here: http://www.agograndstrand.org/ or see what AGO national is up to here: www.agohq.org . I look forward to returning next Sunday with an armful of new repertoire books and fresh ideas from convention recitals, worship services and workshops. See you soon!
