Bird Island

[ place ] Bird Island was owned by Sam Register. According to Pearl Kelly, Bird Island was the George Lee Fishery.

In the early 1940's, William N. "Bill" Wood bought Bird Island on the coast and moved his family there. He became a commercial fisherman.
