Carbur Methodist Church
Little is known about this church but it was a part of the Methodist Protestant Church.
Organized May 14, 1919 by Rev. G. H. Hendry and E. W. Holland. At one time having a membership of 50. Had a church building and held preaching, sabboth school and prayer services. Further description about its location was as follows: Situated on the A.C.L. RR in the county of Taylor. Fourteen miles from Keaton Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Large lumbering plants located here.

Carbur Methodist
Organized May 14, 1919 by Rev. G. H. Hendry and E. W. Holland. Has now on roll 50 members. A nice new house of worship nearing completion worth $2000. Has a Sabbath School and weekly prayer service. Paid on pastor’s salary this year $150. Paid $45 on helpers in meeting. Gained 23 new members this year. Situated on the A.C.L. RR in the county of Taylor. Fourteen miles from Keaton Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Large lumbering plants located here.
