Day 01 - Part 1

(this should have been posted yesterday but I lost my internet connection).

A quick update while I'm sitting in the Macmillan unit waiting for my first set of Chemo for my fourth and last cycle of my treatment.

You will have noticed there were not many updates last week, Isabel and I went to Swanage on Thursday night and only came back last night. We had a great time at the seaside, did lots of walking and eating out. It helped to make up for not being able to go earlier in the year with Isabel and James.

I will be here in the Macmillan unit all day, this cycle will be the same as cycle 3.

Day 1 - two sets of chemo (each delivered via a drip) twelve hours apart.

Day 2 - Nothing

Day 3 - two sets of chemo (each delivered via a drip) twelve hours apart.

Day 4 - Nothing

Day 5 - two sets of chemo (each delivered via a drip) twelve hours apart.

Then it will be the long wait...

I will do another update tomorrow morning. The updates this week will probably be quite short because I find the this treatment of chemo takes a lot out of me.
