Day 20

Medically no change from yesterday, Neutrophils still zero and I’m still on my usual selection of drugs to try and keep me well. The consultant still just pops in to says hi, asks if I have any questions and goes.

Making progress on the car now, hopefully only another couple of days to go before I’m ready to post a picture of it.

Isabel and James came in yesterday and James gave me a present and card for my birthday today (just in case I don’t see him today - he goes to his Dad’s today for the rest of the summer holidays). Isabel decorated my room with balloons and banners. Which has resulted in everybody coming into my room wishing me a happy birthday and I have already had a couple of the staff singing happy birthday to me at 8 o’clock this morning.

… Only 6k again on the exercise bike, still taking it easy until blood counts start to recover…
