No update on my Neutrophil level for yesterday, they were a bit short staffed on the nursing side so I did not ask them to go and check. I should find out later when the doctor does their ward round. Hopefully they will have moved a bit.
Isabel was in for most of yesterday afternoon and evening. It’s funny how after all this time some staff know her quite well and others don’t. There is a tea trolley that comes round every couple of hours, they are only supposed to give tea to the inmates (sorry patients). A lot now ask Isabel if she would like a cup, some actually bring her one without asking. But there are still a few who stick to the rules which is quite frustrating. I think it depends on whether the staff are actually from this ward or are bank staff that cover the whole hospital. It was a good weekend she got tea in all the rounds. It’s funny how small things like getting a cup of tea (or not) can actually be one of the most frustrating things.
We just chilled out, well as much as you can in this heat. Isabel brought in lots of cold drinks that helped to keep us hydrated and cool.
… Back up to 7k yesterday, feeling my self again…
