I have now had the last of my chemo administered for this cycle, 11pm last night…
Yesterday was basically just a day of ups and downs - because of the amount of fluid they have pumped into me although my feet are the worst my arms and legs were also a bit swollen. But I started to pass a lot of liquid yesterday so spend quite a lot of time in the toilet. When not in there I spend the rest of my time with my feet up to help reduce the swelling. Hence the ups and downs…
The ward round was just done by one of the doctors (not consultants) so no real update there. Basically temperature and blood pressure is now stable.
Isabel was in for her visit as usual yesterday which was very nice, it really helps to break up the day and the real coffee was a welcome treat.
The taste buds don’t seem to have been as bad this time round. I seem to be able to eat savoury things much sooner this time than on the first cycle.
No sign of the remaining hair starting to fall out, but I’m sure it will…
I’m looking forward to a lunchtime visit from Dee and David today, and an evening call with Lynne and Les.
… 3k on the exercise bike again yesterday…
