Due the high temperature and low blood pressure from the night before, yesterday I was feeling very tiered.
Isabel came in in the morning so that she could hear the results of my tests direct from the consultant. So basically I am where they would expect me to be at this stage in the treatment if everything was going to plan. I went into what is called remission at the end of cycle 1 which means they can’t find any trace of leukaemia in my bone marrow. This does not mean I’m cured, just reacting well to the treatment.
Still off my food, but that is not surprising - based on last time it will be at least a week before I can start to eat normally again. I am making sure I eat what I can to keep my strength up.
Rebecca popped in for a quick visit yesterday and actually found me awake (otherwise it would have been a very dull visit).
Isabel came in again later in the day as usual, we talked a bit and she read her book as I snoozed (I know there will be some people out there who will say that is normal for me…)
I am feeling better today but I will be getting my last dose of Daunorubicin today which will knock be back a bit.
… Did 3k on the exercise bike yesterday, I don’t want to over do it while I’m felling tiered and not eating…
