Medically no change from yesterday, the rash is fading fast and the left foot is only swelling a little bit.
Generally I think I have found cycle 2 more difficult both physically and mentally. This may be because I was physically quite run down when I came in for cycle 1, my body did not actually drop that much. Mentally, I have already been through this once before so there is nothing really new to keep my interest, I have a good idea when different side effects will kick in and how long they are going to last and I don’t have the ‘wig lady’ to keep us occupied.
To help keep the brain active I have signed up for another OU course ‘Discover and apply your creative skills’ now some of you may be thinking it will not take long for me to discover my creative skills (although I think they are quite well hidden). This is a 30 hour course so one or two hours a day should take me into cycle 3. Basically the course explains the concepts of creative thinking in a business environment and explains techniques on how to apply it.
It was good to see Isabel for a couple of hours yesterday and I’m impressed she managed to get a copy of ‘Scottish Field’ although it does give the impression that everybody in Scotland lives in a castle and goes grouse shooting at the weekend. Which I’m sure my friends from Scotland will disagree with, none of them go grouse shooting…
... up to 7k on the exercise bike yesterday...
