My hair is still coming out, but at a much reduced pace. I think we are down to about the last 30% but they are not going without a real fight.
Medically nothing much has changed I was given another bag of platelets yesterday evening (stop the bleeding if you have a cut). They seem to be doing a rather good job because the nurse is having difficulties getting blood out of me today.
A frequent question I am ask is don’t I get bored stuck in this room all day so I though I would share my schedule for a typical day (including Saturdays and Sundays)…
6:00 am Woken to have my stats taken (blood pressure, temp and heart rate)
7:00 am Blood taken and drugs given (antibiotics etc)
7:30 am Get up washed, dressed etc
8:00 am Breakfast
8:30 am Cup of tea

So as you can see I don’t think I have ever been this busy and it is really nice to actually have time to do some reading.
It was very nice to see Carolyne yesterday and hear about the family back in Scotland.
… 9k on the exercise bike yesterday, making the most of feeling good, people who have known me for a long time (Lynn) find it hard to believe I even have one …
