Platelets started to go up yesterday which is a good sign, shows the bone marrow is starting to recover after the last set of chemo. My Neutrophils are always the last to recover so I don’t expect to get out before the beginning of next week at the earliest.
To keep myself busy I find the trick is to do lots of different things for a short period of time rather than spending the whole afternoon doing one thing. So yesterday I finished painting all the bits of the model car - next stage is to put it together (hopefully that will be quicker than the painting). Read a bit more of my course and did some of the puzzles out of my puzzle books. Along with some web surfing (I think I have read every article on the BBC news website!) and have text chats with Isabel.
Sounds like Isabel and James have had a fantastic time in Swanage, they come home today so it will be good to see them tomorrow.
… 6k on the exercise bike yesterday, did not feel too bad but I don’t want to push myself too hard, as my blood count increase I may try to get back up to 9k…
