Getting back into the routine of things now that my chemo has finished. My Neutrophil level has dropped to 0.6 which means the door is shut and everybody has to wear apron and gloves to come into the room. So my main task for the next three weeks is not to get an infection.
Medically there was no update yesterday because it was a Sunday, but I suspect nothing has changed.
My apatite is starting to recover, I’m eating about half of each meal. Part of it could be there is no surprise left in the menu, I think I must be into my tenth week in hospital.
Isabel and James went to a car museum yesterday and brought me back an airfix model car kit to build. That should keep me busy for a couple of days. They visited about tea time and James watched ‘Ice Age 3’ - it’s a good movie.
I read another chapter of my OU course on creative thinking yesterday on ‘Mind Set’. I guess I will finish the course in this cycle.
… 4 k on the exercise bike yesterday, I was feeling quite good, don’t want to do much more until I’m eating better…
