No big surprises on the health side yesterday, the consultant just comes in now to say hello and see how colourful my shirt is. One of the nurses checked my Neutrophil levels over the last three days for me and they have gone from 0.8 to 0.3 to 0.1 so they are moving in the correct direction at this stage of the cycle.
I did a bit more painting on my model car, up to six coats of paint on the main body - the water based paint just slides off the plastic. I got some proper oil based paint for another model I have and that paint covers really well. The only problem are the fumes that they give off - not sure I will do to much painting with them while I’m in a small room that I can’t open the windows or door…
The beard is also coming along quite nicely, all the staff seem to think it suits me. It is quite amazing there are websites dedicated to the growing and maintenance of beards. It would appear that I should not do any trimming of it for the first four weeks (not sure Isabel will let me keep it that long). My hair is still growing and we think that there may be some new growth - a bit fluffy at this stage. I will get Isabel to give it a trim at the end of next week.
Isabel and James popped in for a visit last night, I will not be seeing them now for about a week as they are off to Swanage for their summer holidays. We will keep in touch by phone text and Isabel can send me pictures from her phone as well. So I should be able to keep up with what they are doing.
I have a number of visitors booked over the next week so I should be kept quite busy, I have Rich coming in today.
…Back up to my target 9k yesterday, did not feel to bad…
