1.2 Fast Rewind: (Labyrinth: An Interactive Catalogue)

Labyrinth: An Interactive Catalogue is a project created by Ned Woodman and Theodor H. Nelson in 1970. The project features a interactive computer where a user can experience one of the first concepts of an interactive catalogue powered by hypertext. In principle this could be considered one of the predecessors of hypertext within our modern computers and mobile devices. The goal of the contraption was to read texts which larger than the screen in itself, by pressing keys the text shifted its section thus granting the user control over the parts.

With this explorative work on text manipulation and the search for the optimal user-interaction we could expand on the enhancement of the interaction between humans and computers
