1.1 Icon: Oats Studio

Oats studio is an independent founded in 2017 by Neill blomkamp with the main goal of gauging film topics, themes, ideas and settings to the public via Youtube and Steam before developing the concept into a full-blown feature movie. Some of the video-snippets featured by the studio itself is the short-film "Rakka", created by the studio in 2017. The short-film depicts a alternative view to the movie topic "World domination by an alien species" by reinventing the concepts and features normally used within these films.

When stumbling upon the content created by the studio I started a binge-session, leaving no video unwatched. The creative twists and alternative takes on commonly used movie methods left a feeling of wonder and anxiousness.
