Academic background:
I did a double bachelor in International Communication & Media (IBCoM) @ Erasmus University Rotterdam and Liberal Arts and Sciences @ Utrecht University. My theses were about "Robotjournalism from the perspective of journalists and their managers" & "Citizens in the Smart City".
Research interests:
Combining technology with biology / ecology. Questions like, "how can we use the Internet of Things to track endangered rhinos on the African steppe?" fascinate me.
Art interests:
When it comes to art, I am most interested in bio-art and bio-design, but I have no experience with it myself. The closest to any school of art I come myself would be video-art, as I like to take make videos of places I visit, or projects I do. Here are two examples:
