"As The Waves Speak"

Do you believe in the invigorating intensity of the sea?

is it the waves of the sea?

or is it the drifting reflection of the sun on the sea? 

floating, moving, carrying and transcending...

The embodied interaction with the sea is so much stronger than our inner monologue that it overpowers our thoughts, movements, alignments and emotions. The sea completely immerses us in it’s symphony. So, what is it like to share a space that is a universe existing and connecting our internal space with the sea? How do our thoughts transcend with the waves of the sea as they speak? 

We used a distance sensor to measure where a person is standing. Four different sound layers are placed on top of each other on Pure Data. The wave sound and the song is unaffected by the distance.
