Size: 11mm

Species account: A rare species (RDB1) in the UK, but possibly increasing. Females can be distinguished by the two small yellow spots on the red abdomen, as well as having red tegulae and yellow calli. Andrena praecox (oligolectic on willow/sallow catkins) is the host species).
