Shortcake


This recipe is a good old one. My mom always made this and it was always on the back of the Bisquick box. Until it wasn't! Who know why Bisquick would remove it, but thank goodness someone saved it and shared it online. So here it is - nothing fancy, but strawberry season just wouldn't be the same without it!!


2 1/3 c. Bisquick

3 Tbsp. sugar

3 Tbsp. melted butter

1/2 milk


Combine and press into an ungreased 8x8 or 9x9 pan and bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Make sure you have lots of milk because this really soaks it up! Yummmmm!!
