Peel and cut up some white potatoes.
Slice several stalks of celery, along with the leaves and cook the potatoes and celery together in salt water.
When the potatoes are soft (but not mushy), drain the water off.
Add as much milk as you want.
Add a sliced hard-boiled egg or two and a big ol' chunk of butter.
Add salt & pepper to taste.
Be sure to have either saltines or soup crackers on hand when you serve this one!
