Take a few minutes working with a partner and act out the following situations, improvising lines and movement. You will have just two minutes for each scene. Be convincing. Be true.
1) Two guys are talking. One, whom we’ll call the boyfriend, has a girlfriend. The other, whom we will call the friend, tries to plant seeds of doubt in the boyfriend’s mind about the girlfriend’s loyalty.
2) Two guys are talking. This time the friend tries to convince the boyfriend that his girlfriend has eyes for a particular guy.
3) A Confrontation between the boyfriend and the girlfriend. Believing her unfaithful, he is angry but won’t say why. She is innocent and bewildered by his anger.
4) In this role play, do #2 again, but this time the boyfriend is BLACK and the girlfriend is WHITE.
5) In this role play, do #3 again, but this time the boyfriend is POOR and the girlfriend is RICH
6) Two girls are talking. One, whom we’ll call the girlfriend, has a boyfriend. The other, whom we will call the friend, tries to plant seeds of doubt in the girlfriend’s mind about the boyfriend’s loyalty.
7) Two girls are talking. This time the friend tries to convince the girlfriend that her boyfriend has eyes for a particular girl.
