Information on Theater Trip

On Tuesday, February 28^th, AFS students will have the opportunity to see the Arden Theater’s production of Clybourne Park, a Pulitzer Prize winning play by Bruce Norris, which is a contemporary response to Lorraine Hansberry’s 1959 Pulitzer Prize winning play, A Raisin in the Sun. The Arden Theater has added this special matinee and talk-back with the actors for our school.

We will travel by bus, leaving AFS at 9 a.m. and arriving back by 2 p.m. Students will attend their first and last period classes. They should bring their lunches that day. Any work due that day in other classes should be turned in to teachers before leaving for the show.

The trip will cost $25.00 ($15 ticket, $10 bus). Checks should be made to Abington Friends School.
