Parents,
To enrich our reading of Frankenstein, we are going to see the new play based on the novel.
The play will be screened live from London on Sunday, March 20 at the Ambler Theater. Showtime is 12:30 through National Theater Live. The play stars Jonny Lee (Trainspotting, Emma, Dexter, and TV's Eli Stone) Miller and Benedict (Amazing Grace, Atonement, and Sherlock) Cumberbatch as Victor and the Creature. In innovative casting, the duo will alternate roles in the play on successive nights.
Tickets must be purchased through the Ambler Theater. If your student is able to go, I ask you to purchase a ticket at the website below. I will arrange transport to the theater as the date nears. You are welcome to join us for this theatrical event.

Ambler: March 20 Sun 12:30
Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) directs his version of FRANKENSTEIN, a play by Nick Dear, based on the novel by Mary Shelley. Nicholas Hytner, Director of the National, says this production is “large-scale and theatrically and visually ambitious.” This is a “must-see” highlight from this year’s National Theatre season.
