    2. Of the other 7 ships in the Lee Column, none had more than 20 killed

    3. Africa had become separated from the main fleet during the night and only joined the northern part of the battle during its final stages

In addition a Parliamentary Grant was awarded, which in the case of Midshipmen was 2½ times the amount of the Prize Money.
