Richard and Mary McEllinney arrived Botany Bay, Australia 9 August 1841, aboard the ship "Cadet" (March 10, 1841 left Liverpool[i]). They were accompanied by their five children - Robert, Henry, Andrew, Rebecca (Rebekah) and Richard (5 of their 10 children) and were reported as in good health, listed as Presbyterian by a Andrew Spratt (Presbyterian minister).
Richard died at Violet hill (dale), 11 October 1878, aged 84, Armidale, New South Wales
Mary McElinney
(aka McIllhenny, McAlheany) 1802-1869
Mary McEllinney was born January 1802, Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland, the daughter of Robert McEllinney (Michelhenny) and Mary Cuthbert, (aka. Culbert) native of Letterkenny. Mary Pearson on 9 Aug. 1841 is reported as aged 47 when she died 9 Feb. 1869, Armidale, New South Wales.

James Moore age 20 and his wife Elizabeth (nee Pearson) age 21, referred to as farm labourer and farm servant from Donegal, respectively, arrived Botany Bay aboard the ship[ii] “Orestes” on 14 May 1841. The Orestes departed Liverpool[iii] on January 06, 1841. They were accompanied by Mary Pearson age 21 and Jane Pearson age 17, both referred to as farm servants from Lake Donegal. A remark for Jane was “suffering palpitations of the heart”.

Jane Donohoe was born in 1850 / Wickham, New South Wales, Australia). (BDM Record shows VC church code Roman Catholic Singleton (inc. New England), St Augustine's, Co. Northumberland. Jane married Michael Egan in 1870 in Murrumburrah, (2829/1870 BDM NSW). Jane died on 03 Aug 1926 in Wallendbeen, (D# 15871/1926).
John Donohoe was born in 1851. He died in 1851. It is probably that Mary also died in this child labour, or soon after.
