Fabricating a story

Rationalising your actions to meet an absence of somethings,

Be it money, wealth or desires perceived as necessities

- love, food and shelter - masquerade in veils of falsehoods, composed in dramas, counterpoint, atmosphere and mood,

in the end when judgement is delivered, will all be laid bare,

revealed as fiction, formed in service to somethings,

established for their survival, yet stripped away

by an ounce of truth, standing without pretence,

abandoned and in ruin, yet standing -

an historical reference point, aside pathways

of our understanding.
