Reginald Stanley Kelsall

Reginald and brother Sidney were born twins in 1875 in Prestwich, Lancashire, England and baptised 14 Feb 1875 at St. Mary the Virgin, Prestwich. Reginald and his brother were sons of John Edmond Ambrose Kelsall and Mary Stubbs.

The 1891 census records the brothers Reginald S and Sidney G both 16 and Percival 14 were lodgers in:

Some event in their lives had become 'too hot to stay' in England and both were sent abroad; SIdney ( Sydney) going to America and Reginald emigrated to New Zealand in the closing years of the nineteenth century and married Maria Collins in 1900.

Reginald was adept in the fishing business which was the family business in England.

Reginald died in 1944.

2. Stanley Kelsall, born: 1899; married Annie Myrtle DUTTON, daughter of Herbert John Dutton and Lillian Anne Scholes. Annie was born on 19 Jul 1909 in New Zealand. Stanley died: 13 Jan 1983.

3. Jennie Kelsall, born: 14 May 1900, married Ernest McCarthy; died: 1983.

4. Constance Mary Kelsall, born: 1904, Married William Rogers; died: 1977.
