Codes Department Fee Schedule

A) All New Commercial Construction: $.40 sq/ft
B) All New Residential Construction: $.45/sq/ft (floor area shall include all habitable space and accessory garages. Floor area will be determined per the prints provided)
C) All New Construction of, and additions to accessory buildings (garages, decks, sheds and porches) $.45 sq/ft (sheds only no permit required under 140 sq/ft)
D) Repairs and Alterations that affect structural components of a building or affects required existing or affects fire safety features:
up to $1600 = $30.00
Every $1000 over = $2.00
E) Above Ground Pools: $30.00
Inground Pools $50.00
F) Sprinklers, Standpipes repairs and additions:
up to $1000 = $15.00
Every $1000 over = $2.00
G) Fences: $15.00
H) Electrical modifications to any system (new service, upgrade and extensions) $10.00
I) Demolition:
Residential $50.00 per floor
Commercial $100.00 per floor
Garage $25.00
J) Sign: $1.00 sq/ft
K) Floodplain permit: $25.00
L) Zoning Board of Appeals:
$100.00 for home owner,
$150.00 for home occupations,
$200.00 for commercial
M) Plumbers License:
$25.00 yearly fee / new license test fee $50.00
N) Woodstove Permits: $25.00
** Failure to obtain a permit may result in a $50.00 late fee charge added to original permit cost.
