Ingredients
1 kg boneless, skinless chicken breast
1/2 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce
1 bottle Ranch dressing
400 grams (or more if you want) of shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey, or Colby)
1/2 cup real bacon bits
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Trim excess fat from chicken.
Flash-fry the chicken in a pan over high heat. (Flash-frying is to leave the chicken over heat just long enough to turn it white. If it browns, it could turn out tough in places)
Place chicken in a 9x13x2 baking dish with a little space between pieces if possible.
Poke holes in the chicken with a steak knife.
Pour teriyaki sauce over chicken, followed by ranch.
Then Sprinkle cheese and bacon bits over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until center of thickest breast is no longer pink in the middle.
I always have mashed potatoes, whole kernel corn and spinach (with sauteed onions and balsamic vinegar added) with this dish.
