Bio:
Caroline Meysey-Wigley was born on 24 June 1801 in Brompton Grove, London to Edmund Meysey-Wigley of Shakenhurst, Worcesterhire and Anna Marie Meysey. In 1840 she married Rev. Archer Clive. She spent much of the latter part of her life as an invalid. On 13 July 1872, her dress caught fire while writing at her home in Herefordshire. She died from her injuries.
All of Caroline's works were published anonymously, sometimes only under the pseudonym "V". She wrote both poetry and novels.
