Andrew Yang’s Freedom Dividend

My calculations to verify.

Total US Population:     329,059,486 (includes kids)

Freedom Dividend:       X  $1,000 month

Total Cost Per Month: $329,059,486,000 (330 Billion Dollars)

Times 12 Months:      X 12

Total Cost Full Year:   $3.9 Trillion

It would be less because the dividend is for everyone age 18 and up.

But we also need to include undocumented immigrants, which is around 12 million, which would make the total listed above pretty close to the right amount.

I highly appreciate Andrew’s positive intent and I’m all for it. I’m also a supporter, I bought his book The War on Normal People, and I’ve donated to his campaign. Andrew’s heart is in the right place and he’s definitely thinking along the right lines, he’s pretty brilliant actually. 

However, the rulers of the monetary system would fight back because they’d feel like the government is wrongly taking their money. There’s a better way to achieve the desired outcome without having to tax anyone and without taking anybody's money.

We (The People/Government) need to go further than just the Freedom Dividend (UBI). We need to change the way money itself is created. We need to take control of the Federal Reserve Bank itself and change it to a Publicly controlled system instead of letting private individuals create the money. Private money creation gives private unelected individuals the highest authority and power over the economic system, natural resources, and humanity itself. By taking control of the money creation system (the Federal Reserve and other Central Banks) we would unshackle the hands of the government and all citizens from the financial constraints that currently keep us from solving the problems of the country and the world. 

Creating the money directly for, and directly to all citizens will enable us to get all the problems fixed very quickly, some literally the first day and overnight, like poverty, and crimes (violent and non-violent) of economic desperation. All the problems and issues the world faces are just direct or indirect “symptoms” of the real disease, the money creation system itself. 

Once you identify and treat the root problem, you heal the tree of life, and it bears abundant fruit, then from the seeds, sows and grows a forest. 

The soil is contaminated, poisoning the roots, once we identify the poison, we decontaminate the soil, then we nurture the roots with nutrients and watch the trunk, branches, leaves, and fruits grow and thrive.

In the LOVE system, progress and great advancement would occur very rapidly because the money will be paid directly to all citizens without a debt burden attached to it. Everyone who works still gets paid just as before, but this way it doesn’t cost anyone anything to pay you, it doesn’t cost the employers, not the businesses, not the government, and not the citizens. The new money is created the moment your weekly salary for your employment is direct-deposited into your bank account. With Zero Taxes taken out. Also, your salary will be at least double your current yearly salary/income, with far fewer work hours.

The LOVE system will lift every single person up and create a social atmosphere of peace, civility, and Love. It’s time for the advancement of Humanity.

As I watch the debates I see that both sides (democrats and republicans) are always asking the same questions about how are we gonna pay for that _________ (fill in the blank for any issue). When will anyone wake up and finally realize that no one has to pay for it, the government pays for it through the money creation process without private banks. Having no private banks means no debt to the government, and no debt to government means no taxes for the citizens.

I’ll try to break it down to each issue so you can see how the money creation process fully funds the job. 

Example 1: The humanitarian crisis at the border.

First, we need lots of people and organizations that are professionals in various needed fields, such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, counselors, child professionals, Mothers (there’s nothing more calming to children than a nurturing mother) and other medical and social workers, and translators. Equipment and supplies.

All of these workers are automatically and immediately funded by the LOVE system. Each person's salaries (and even a lump bonus for helping with such a difficult situation) will be direct-deposited into each person's personal bank account. They get paid just like they got paid in the old system but the money didn’t have to come from some savings account or pot-o-money funded by taxes or borrowing, the money is created directly into the people’s accounts.

All other needed resources are funded just the same way. Whether it be proper and humane housing facilities or setting migrants up in hotel rooms, all those costs are covered, each person that works at any job that contributes to helping with the crises, such as bus drivers, the hotel workers, the carpenters, technicians, and other construction workers who build the housing facilities, the food workers, the warehouse workers sending shipments of food, the truck drivers delivering the food and supplies… everyone all the way across the board, from the farmers, to the food processors (ie employees at Kraft, Nestle, and other businesses), to healthcare workers, to social workers, to counselors, linen & clothing suppliers, drivers, cooks and ALL other people across the country (and preferably the world as it catches on) that keep all of society functioning. It works this way all the way across the board, all people get paid by direct deposit. A simple yet sophisticated smartphone app would make the whole process of employment verification and direct deposit quick and efficient. The verification is simple, your employer verifies that you work there by tapping a box with a checkmark, boom you’re officially employed and your automatic direct deposit begins immediately, or just continues if you already had been working at your job beforehand, but with a raise, so you’d never notice a difference of who’s paying you, or how the money is paid, you continue getting paid just as before, but more.

The government doesn’t have to worry about where the money will come from, because they create it, and they don’t need to tax anyone because they don’t need to collect or save up money to have the money to pay for things, the money is created on the spot to pay for all things, to pay all people.  

We should never let money dictate the holding back of life-sustaining resources that exist in abundance, there’s more than enough for everyone. Once we let money dictate such things as someone being or not being allowed to eat, especially when we have such abundance in fully stocked storehouses, that’s when we’ve lost our humanity. You don’t have a bbq party with your friends, family, coworkers, etc. and say to one of them “hey you can’t eat!”, no, everyone eats. So why do we have a “system” of money -- that’s purely based on belief; a system of and within the mind; mental software -- that doesn’t ensure that every human has the most basic needs of life (food, water, etc.)?

We can do better.

I’m not a perfect writer and I repeat myself a lot but each time I write a new section I try to add more details and I try to explain it in various alternate ways. Anyway, please just give The LOVE System a read more thoroughly with a conscious and open mind before just outright discounting it.
