Resource-Based Economy
Life's Optimal Virtuous Economy (LOVE) is a transitional Resource-Based Economic System in which the availability of goods are directly based on the abundance or scarcity of the natural resources. Some resources, such as food, water, homes, and various other goods and products are readily abundant enough to provide to everyone for free, while other natural resources, products, and goods may be more scarce or not as available, or not as quickly produced, processed or manufactured to be able to provide to all of the population so quickly or liberally.
Conservation of scarce or finite resources is where our spending credits come in. Cost setting of goods and products acts as a governor to regulate consumption in direct relation to the abundance or scarcity of each individual resource. All resources are monitored and tracked by a finely tuned and synchronized intelligent integrated computer system much like what we already have in Capitalism but more advanced, this new LifeLine Economic System doesn’t falsely contrive the profit-based illusion of scarcity where there is no scarcity like our current capitalist system does.
Standard of Living
Everyone’s standard of living in this new system will be equivalent to what we currently call “upper middle class”, all basic provisions and accommodations are provided for everyone at no cost to anyone. LifeLine Income is not spent on living expenses because there aren’t any living expenses, we spend our income on non-essential physical goods and products such as TV’s, personal computers, etc. etc., basically the types of things we already buy at stores like Wal-mart, with a few exceptions such as food, hygiene and other items that we get for free through our various LifeLine Credit Accounts explained throughout these writings.
Everyone lives in their homes for free, at no cost to anyone. All utilities are also free, such as electric, water, natural gas, internet, phone, cable, trash & recycling service, etc. Nobody has any bills or debt whatsoever.
LifeLine App: Income & Credits Accounts
Everyone receives a Universal Basic Income deposited weekly into their Personal Income Account within the LifeLine App on our personal devices such as smartphones. All money is created from thin air when it is entered into our LifeLine App, there’s no banks or pot of money. When we spend our money it is deleted and no longer exists in the system, in other words nobody gets money that we spend, it simply no longer exists, businesses don’t collect any money when we buy something, instead, the money is simply erased out of our account, nobody gets that spent money.
Those of us who contribute to society in our own various ways receive a Contribution Bonus Income into our Personal Income Account. Those who are attending college or university, or are actively pursuing or participating in alternate forms of higher education and activities will receive the Education Bonus Income into their Personal Income Account. There are many various credit spending accounts within this new proposed system, some of which I mention below.
Education, Colleges & Universities
A more informed, educated and intelligent society creates a more prosperous society, so the more people we have attending our free colleges and universities, the more smart people we have to improve our society and our standards of living. Through science and technology we can vastly improve our standards of living, so the more educated our innovators and problem solvers are, the better off society is as a whole, which is one of the many advantages of having a free-for-all education system. Everyone who attends school receives an Education Bonus Income in addition to their Universal Basic Income, and if they are also contributing in the workforce they get the additional Contribution Bonus Income as well.
Community Centers
There will be multiple types of Community Centers, such as, Sports, Recreation & Social Community Centers, as well as Education & Experimentation Community Centers where you can use or experiment with anything from technologies, equipment, tools, etc. as well as have access to information, materials, supplies and other resources at no cost, to be used for projects you are working on. Community Centers are a place where you can work on whatever ideas and projects you have in mind, you can work individually, or you can collaborate with others on yours and/or their ideas and projects.
We could use the buildings that were previously financial and paper-pushing business facilities that are rendered obsolete in a society without Capitalism, such as banks, skyrise buildings, Wall Street facilities, etc., and if needed we will build new Community Centers in the places that don’t have suitable facilities available. These buildings will also be at no cost to anyone, and the workers who help with the building construction projects get the Contribution Bonus Income through the LifeLine App.
Transportation
All public transportation is free to everyone, this includes buses, trains, planes, taxis, etc., also rental cars will be provided for free. Personal transportation, such as cars, are available to everyone for purchase as resources are available, in other words there may not be enough vehicles for everyone to go out to get a car all at once. Vehicles will be sold at rock bottom prices in comparison to what they are sold for in capitalism, pricing can vary depending on the demand versus supply. Everyone will be able to equally afford paying from their income spending accounts for a vehicle with no loans. But there needs to be limits on how often we should be able to get a new car. This topic needs to be explained in much more detail because things like cars are not as abundant and require more resources and time to build, which brings me to how to set pricing for products and goods.
Examples of Income & Pricing
I don’t really want to put a specific price to specific items such as autos and various other consumer goods and products until the proper resource inventory data is gathered. However, if I had to put a estimated price on something like a car, I would say anywhere from 1000-5000 credits. A TV or computer could be around 100-500 credits. Considering that we have no bills to pay and most of our resources are provided for free, I estimate that each person can have an income of anywhere from 20-500 credits per week depending on what incomes they are qualified to receive, such as the standard Contribution Bonus Income and/or the standard Education Bonus Income, as well as the standard Universal Basic Income. Even a person receiving only the weekly Universal Basic Income of let’s say, 20 credits, can save all of that money each week if they want, to buy something like a TV or even a new car. Remember, these numbers are just estimates to give a basic idea of how the pricing would work. How much income does a person really need anyway in a system that all living expenses are free?
Nothing really “has” to cost money, the main reason or purpose to put a price tag on things at first, before making everything free, is to moderate our current society's addiction to Capitalism’s commercialism and mass advertising that drives irresponsible and needless consumerism. Mass advertising will no longer exist, at least not in it’s current form or medium.
Keep in mind that the ultimate goal is to make Everything free and have no kind of money system at all. Putting a price on certain resources is only to keep all of us from going out at once to empty all the stores and car lots irresponsibly simply because the word “free” would activate our programmed thinking process and emotional response by releasing endorphins, sending us on addictive shopping sprees. I can’t seem to explain in writing right now a more detailed description of pricing and income in this new system, but I have attempted to explain it in many ways in my previous writings, which is why I recommend reading all the other pages on this website as well.
Household Spending Account
Each of us will also have a Universal Household Spending Account which gives us the ability to purchase essential household items, such as new appliances, furniture, linens, dishes, lawn equipment and various other household products and supplies. All these items are free but are regulated by each of us having an account with a reasonable amount of credits to spend yearly on household items as needed. Excessive or more extravagant household items can be purchased using our Personal Income Accounts as long as the material resources are available.
Clothing
We could also set up a Universal Clothing Credits Account in the LifeLine App for everyone to acquire new clothing at no cost. Everyone will have enough yearly Clothing Credits to spend on a fair or liberal amount clothing. If people want more clothing, they can then spend from their Universal Basic & Bonus Income Accounts.
Personal Hygiene Account
The Personal Hygiene Credits Account is another free account that gives you free credits to spend on personal hygiene items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, brushes and various other toiletries. Most of these items are in such abundant supply that there won’t be as much restriction or limitations on these items. Again, all hygiene products and supplies are supplied at no cost to anyone because they we will all have monthly credits needed for the items.
Resource Access for Entrepreneurs
Individuals will also be given access to all available resources needed to start new businesses and industries. This also includes access to workers or contributors at no cost to anyone. Remember, all income that is paid to everyone of us is created in the LifeLine App, there is no big money pot or banks that the money comes from, it’s created out of thin air when the income is entered automatically into our LifeLine Personal Income Accounts.
Public Open-Access to All Facilities
All of the current Corporation’s production, manufacturing and service facilities will be open to the public so people have the ability to experience and learn firsthand how things are designed, built, programmed, operated, repaired, etc. which will help people discover what they want to do in life to contribute, whether that be intellectually, physically, sociologically, psychologically, emotionally or spiritually, all institutions are open for everyone to freely explore, research and experience to further their knowledge and growth, ultimately leading to a well versed society.
Religion & Religious Institutions
Churches would still be able to continue doing what they do but will have no need for a collection plate because it won’t cost them anything to run and maintain the churches because they are free of charge, no cost to or for anyone, and they still get paid the standard Universal Basic Income and Universal Basic Food Credits just like everyone else as well as the Contribution Bonus Income for contributing to society just like everyone else who provides their contribution to society in their own ways, churches provide a service to our world’s communities. Faith can be a good thing for people to have as long as religion doesn't suppress, oppress or repress the people it’s supposed to serve with integrity and Love, nor should they try to control others who don’t follow their faith or religion.
Once capitalism is gone, religious institutions have no financial restraints, nor controls, and no reason to attempt to manipulate world politics for financial gain or malevolent power because they will be provided all they could ever need at no cost, they can stay in their buildings, and they have no bills to pay, just like everyone else. Any services the churches need such as maintenance, repairs, remodels, new construction projects, travel, etc. are provided at no cost, as well as the materials and supplies needed for those projects, as long as the natural resources are sufficiently available. The people (contractors and service providers) who put in their contributions are paid the Contribution Bonus Income from the LifeLine App just like everyone else who contributes to society. Contributions to society come in many forms.
Challenge to Find Flaws
I would like to challenge everyone to find and point out flaws of how this system can't work. Please keep in mind that I have not written every specific detail or all the logistics that are still in my head, but it is possible that I may have already written about it, which is why I ask that you read all of my writings first. This challenge is not a competition, at least not in the sense of ego or one-upping someone else, it is not intended to make anyone look or feel stupid or made-fun-of. This is simply a challenge to find the flaws, if any, so that I know which areas of this proposed system requires a more in depth explanation. My writings are a work in progress, so there will be areas and topics that I may not have touched on yet. Some topics, I may believe, are more self-explanatory than others so I may not have gone into specific details because I may have naively assumed that everyone automatically understands without deep explanation of how certain basic aspects of this system will work. This challenge is not an invite to be disrespectful, rude, crude, harsh, unkind or downright mean, it is simply a method to bring about collaboration to brainstorm ideas, beliefs and opinions. If there is something you don't understand, please just ask me and I will try to explain to the best of my ability, or direct you to where it has already been explained in my writings or other sources that you may not have read or seen. Anyway, Thank You for your participation, and I look forward to your input.
Be sure to check out the other pages on this website to get a broader understanding of these concepts and ideas. Thanks for reading!
