Hi, I’m Cece, and I have decided to start an advice column called "Ask Cece." If you have a question about relationships with either your friends, family, or even your pets I would be more than happy to answer them. Questions about school are okay too but make sure it’s not the answer to a math question that I need to answer for you. That is most likely not what this column is for.
Also just a heads up, I will not be able to answer all of your questions. I will try to stick to three questions each time that we print a newspaper and so then it will keep this column consistent. Rest assured, your question will remain anonymous so you don’t have to worry about being too exposed to the school. I most likely will make up a name for you to keep it anonymous, see below for an example. If you want, you don’t even have to sign your name on the email you send me. You can send me questions via email at lbnews@shorewood.k12.wi.us
I look forward to seeing your questions in the future.
P.S I am NOT the guidance counselor. That is Mrs. Gahl-Sweeney’s job, so if there is anything that is too personal to tell me, DON’T. If you feel comfortable, tell her or Ms. Harrison, I don’t need to know anything that is too much in your business!
Your friend,
Cece
Here is the first question!

Someone in my house wants a pet dog, but I’m not so sure, because I think dogs are a lot of work. What should I do?
--- Puzzled with Pets
Dear Puzzled with Pets,
If you feel that you aren’t quite ready for this big responsibility, then you should tell your family member what exactly is worrying you, they can help you get through those obstacles. Maybe try to hear why this family member wants it, or help to split up the work between all of your family. You’re right, dogs sure are a lot of work, but who knows, you could make it fun and know that adopting a pet from an animal shelter is a great way to help our community. You could also try thinking about what you might enjoy about this dog. You never know. You might have a lot of fun with this spectacular pup!
Toodles,
Cece
