Have you ever had that kind of day where you feel like everything is going wrong? Well you probably have heard of positive thinking. I know, I know, we all don’t want another lecture on the power of positive thinking and growth mindset, but it’s easier to get discouraged when something doesn't go your way so thinking positively is really important!
I have had one of those days when I felt no one was there for me, but that is what friends are for.
I had thought that what they had said was right. I do this and I do that, but all I had to do was think that I was not all of those things. I had to think I Know WHO I AM.
For me, some strategies are maybe trying to laugh or distracting yourself to help you kind of loosen up and be able to think clearly again. And try to talk to a friend or someone you trust.
I think one more thing that you could do is practice positive self talk. It actually helps get rid of unwanted thoughts when you're feeling down like I can’t do this. You might also try doing something nice for someone else because it might make you feel good if they feel good!
