One day, while me and some of my classmates were in school, doing a work check-in, my teacher Mr. Peterka had the idea to set up a bowling alley in one of the empty hallways.
We put three bowling pins at the MAC 1 Birch end of the hallway that goes off of the entrance. The person who rolled the ball (a basketball) towards the pins stood by the far end of the hallway by the bubblers. Everyone got two tries to knock down the pins, and only one person ended up knocking down two of the pins.
We filmed the whole thing, which was hard because the ball sometimes came right at you and you had to move out of the way at the last second.
We had a lot of fun, which reminded us that even though school isn’t going on in-person right now, we can still have fun in creative ways that wouldn’t be possible without the pandemic.
If you want to be in the next video, email lbnews@shorewood.k12.wi.us, and we will pick five people randomly to be in the next video. We will do more trick shots that wouldn't be possible without the pandemic and online school.
