Dear Lake Bluff -
It is the end of an era for your 6th graders, next year they will be going off to SIS (Shorewood Intermediate School). They have learned much from you in the past years of their lives. They are off on a new adventure. Of course you still get to keep your adventures alive with your K4 to almost new 6th graders.
We will miss this school, more than anything. It’s our grade school! I mean how could we forget that! I used to think it wasn’t a big deal to graduate but now that I am doing it I realize how important it is to us. But next year we will remember less about it so we wanted to write a letter about what we appreciate about you!
The teachers are so kind and are always there for you and whenever you need help, you will always have them to ask, or talk to. Also when you are embarrassed remember that they have most likely had a student that has done the same thing so don’t feel bad.
I will miss the way that we learned and how everyday was a new experience for me and how everyday we could learn a new thing and feel proud of the new thing we learned.
Overall, through and through,
Lake Bluff, we will miss you.
Elementary school has taught me so much
and has made me learn as such.
We love this school a lot,
but we are excited to go to middle school,
now that's a thought!
Lake Bluff has impacted my entire life. I will never get used to middle school. Lake Bluff will always be MY school. The teachers mean so much to me, watching me grow and my classmates, not one a bully and really, really awesome people! I love being at Lake Bluff, full of future astronauts and millionaires. That's the future Lake Bluff has a set us up for and I couldn't be more grateful. Goodbye Lake Bluff :(
I don't want to go!! Come with me!!!! Although you prepared me for middle school I still don’t want to leave! Promise me you will stay where you are so I can come and visit...ok??!!
Ok… writing to a building...that's cool. I guess. But it's not the building that makes Lake Bluff special, it's the people. I would like to thank all the kids from Bright Beginnings to my 6th grade (almost 7th grade) students. I'd like to thank all of them for all of my success as a student and success in the future. Lake Bluff will always be my home, boy will I miss it!
All I want to say is that I will always and forever love Lake Bluff School!
Sincerely,
Some Sentimental Sixth Graders
