If you experience difficulties meeting a deadline, you need to request an extension before the deadline, wherever possible. Please see the University's extensions webpage for information about the kinds of circumstances that will be considered.
Extensions are not granted lightly but are considered sympathetically. The History Welfare team needs to know why you are requesting extra time in order to respond to your request. We aim to reply within three working days, but please be aware that at busy times this process may take longer. In the meantime, the safest thing to do is to continue to work towards submitting your work on time.
If you require an extension of longer than one or two weeks, or if your circumstances are impacting your ability to complete your work more broadly, please see the information on the Extenuating Circumstances process.
To request an extension please complete the form below, selecting the 'extension request' option under the type of request.
If you are applying for an extension on a module outside of history, you can find the relevant school's extensions and extenuating circumstances form on the university's Extenuating Circumstances page.
