A taskboard or rotation chart is an excellent way to organise a Guided Mathematics programme. This board/chart needs to be in a place that is easily seen by all students and students will need to be taught how to read it. Pictures are particularly useful for younger students. These taskboards can be designed on a display board, corrugated flute board, or the whiteboard. Velcro dots or magnets can be used so that the activities each group is scheduled for can be regularly changed.
In place of a rotation chart, teachers may choose to use "Must Dos, Can Dos". Click this link for more information on this.
