All planning should be entered into iUgo.
You will need to create an Inquiry plan for each term. All plans need to have the 'Big Idea', 'Achievement Objectives' and 'Key Competencies/Values' filled in. Your Inquiry plan should also contain information on each part of the Inquiry Process (Kath Murdoch): Tuning In, Finding Out, Sorting Out, Going Further, Making Conclusions, Taking Action, Sharing and Discussion, and Reflection and Self-Assessment.
Big Idea: What is the overarching learning in this unit?
Achievement Objectives: Select relevant Achievement Objectives for each Learning Area of the NZC that you will be covering in this unit.
Key Competencies/Values: What are the values that will be explored in this unit? What Key Competencies will students during this unit?
Essential Questions: What are the key questions that will lead the learning and investigation?
Learning Support: What students will need supported and how will you support them?
