Rationale
God is the central focus of the Christian life. “In Him we live and move and have our being”. Developing students’ awareness, knowledge and relationship with God is the primary task of the school programme, that they may know Him, who is eternal life. Developing student understanding of the beliefs, lifestyles and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and exploring how to integrate faith into everyday life is an essential part of the school's task in growing a faith experience in the students.

We will revisit the Encounter Schedule at the beginning of each year to ensure that we are all teaching the right units.
Aim: To embed the Adventist Christian special character into the life of our school.
This is being achieved through the following means:
Our Curriculum Schema contains our school values on a biannual cycle, fitting with the local curriculum overarching concept.
Each Curriculum Learning Area in our local curriculum contains a breakdown of how the value can be integrated.
Every Term, staff and students will unpack the value and how it can be shown in various contexts.
The value of the Term is also the focus of our Chapel each week.
Staff use the growth token system to encourage students to actively display the value of the Term.
